10,9,8,7…3,2 & 1 and yes, we have reach to the final month of the year 2009. New Year's Eve has always been a time for looking back to the past, and more importantly, forward to the coming year. It's a time to reflect on the changes we want (or need) to make and resolve to follow through on those changes.
1. Spend More Time with Family & Friends
To appreciate and spend more time with my family and friends. Work shouldn't always come first, I guess.
2. Fit in Fitness
Work out and exercise to extract my excessive fats specifically on my ‘chicken wings’ and ‘hippies’.
3. Enjoy Life More
"To be happier!” Would like to bring balance to my body, mind and soul. To take up photography skills if I manage to get myself the DSLR camera…pssttt!! & i wanna take up diving lesson and be able to dive freely in the sea and swim with the lovely fishes or dolphins.
4. Get Out of Debt
Be able to get rid of all my debts….monthly, quarterly, yearly installments!!
5. Save Money
Save, save, save……and try not to splurge on unnecessary stuffs. Buy more during sales period (if they still have my size). No more branded goods…sob! sob! Prolly, once in a while..tssttt!!:P
6. Generate more income
Make my parents proud and be able buy them lots of gifts and hopefully to sponsor them on a holiday trip. Plus, i can shop more..hehe.
7. Help Others
Try to help people in need. Volunteerism…that’s the spirit!!
8. To be a better person.
Get over the past and be a better person. “Respect,Patience, Tolerance, Faith, No more procrastination, Be optimistic, Forget & Forgive” I hope to be more positive and work towards being tolerant of those who have no tolerance for others…who seem to think that LESS knowledge is preferable to more. More than anything, I hope to remain hopeful.
"A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step." - Lao Tzu
9. Become a great 'cook'
So to make my future hubby happy (whoever he might be).:P
10. To meet the love of my life
Make time to date someone seriously. Someone who commits to loving and can accept who I really am and for me to also accept who he really is.
“Truth is the path to love, and the only thing worth pursuing…”
Hence, “I need a magnifying glass! I'm trying to find that rare jewel.” Haha.
My sincerest wish is that everyone will be happy, and share a moment of joy, love, peace and understanding. May love flourish among people all over the world and blessings for the new year.
Happy New Year peeps!!
